Install설치
Open Ieum.dmg and drag Ieum to Applications. It lives in the menu bar, and a short setup asks for microphone and speech permissions.Ieum.dmg를 열고 Ieum을 응용 프로그램으로 끌어다 놓으세요. 메뉴 막대에 상주하며, 처음 실행 시 마이크와 음성 인식 권한을 안내합니다.

Pick a mode, press start모드 선택 후 시작

English and Korean in one stream. The language is detected sentence by sentence, and each line carries its translation. Prefer one direction? Use English → Korean when you listen, Korean → English when you present.영어와 한국어가 하나의 흐름으로 이어집니다. 문장마다 언어를 감지해 번역을 붙입니다. 한 방향만 원하면 들을 때는 영어→한국어, 발표할 때는 한국어→영어를 쓰세요.

Words appear about a second after they are spoken. A finished sentence is translated about a second later.말하고 약 1초 뒤에 글자가 나타나고, 문장이 끝나면 약 1초 뒤에 번역됩니다.

Confidential calls are exactly where cloud captions are hard to justify. Ieum uses Apple's Speech and Translation frameworks, running on the device.기밀 회의에 클라우드 자막을 쓰기는 부담스럽습니다. Ieum은 기기 안에서 동작하는 Apple의 음성 인식·번역 프레임워크를 사용합니다.

Yes. Ieum is open source under the Apache License 2.0. Use it at work or at home, and modify or redistribute it. The name and logo are not part of the license.네. Ieum은 Apache License 2.0의 오픈소스입니다. 업무든 개인용이든 자유롭게 쓰고 수정·재배포할 수 있습니다. 이름과 로고는 라이선스에 포함되지 않습니다.
Does it work with Zoom, Google Meet and Teams?Zoom, Google Meet, Teams에서도 되나요?
Yes. Pick the system audio source and Ieum reads the audio of any app, so it does not depend on the meeting software. The first time, macOS asks for Screen & System Audio Recording permission. No. Recognition and translation run on your Mac, and the app makes no network requests while it runs. Only a text script is saved locally. No audio is recorded.아니요. 인식과 번역은 Mac 안에서 이뤄지고, 앱은 실행 중 네트워크 요청을 하지 않습니다. 텍스트 스크립트만 로컬에 저장되며 음성은 녹음하지 않습니다.

Why do I need macOS 26.4 for translation?번역에 macOS 26.4가 필요한 이유는?
Ieum uses Apple's own on-device Translation framework instead of a cloud service. The version it needs for this use ships with macOS 26.4. On older versions you still get live captions.Ieum은 클라우드 대신 Apple의 온디바이스 번역 프레임워크를 사용하며, 이 용도에 필요한 버전이 macOS 26.4에 포함됩니다. 이전 버전에서도 실시간 자막은 사용할 수 있습니다.
A permission is on but it still doesn't work.권한을 켰는데도 동작하지 않아요.
After turning a permission on in System Settings, quit Ieum completely and open it again. If something else goes wrong, open an issue on GitHub.시스템 설정에서 권한을 켠 뒤에는 Ieum을 완전히 종료하고 다시 여세요. 그래도 문제가 있으면 GitHub에 이슈를 남겨 주세요.
